Early next morning, Alice took a flight with Dorian to G City, and there was someone to take them to the place where Kyle was having his meeting and negotiation.

Since Kyle was in a meeting, Dorian and Alice waited in the guest room. Alice was so anxious, and when she finally saw Kyle come in, she immediately stood up and said, "Did you really meet Mabel?"

"Mabel?" Kyle visibly paused for a moment.

"Alexander Quinn." Kyle replied, "Why, was her original name Mabel?"

"Mabel Quinn. If she really is the person we think she is, then her original name should be this." Dorian said.

Alice gently bit her lip; did Mabel change her name? Yesterday, knowing Mabel was still alive made her so excited that she forgot to think about other things.

If Mabel changed her name originally to avoid being recognized, would their current arrival disrupt things for her?

"Alright, things have come to this point, even if Kyle doesn’t ask me, he can ask someone else." Dorian said, seeing through his wife’s concerns and worries.

After that, Dorian asked Kyle for Mabel’s address, then said, "I’ll go see her first. As for what you want to know, once I’m sure, I’ll tell you more."

When Dorian and Alice stood at the doorway of Mabel’s apartment, and saw Mabel open the door, Alice couldn’t stop her tears from falling.

"It’s really you, Mabel, you’re still alive, you’re still alive!" Alice exclaimed while rushing forward to hug Mabel tightly.

After the initial shock, Mabel also hugged Alice, "I’m sorry, Alice." It was her selfishness to hide for so long and make her friend sad.

"Fool, what are you apologizing for, you’re okay, being alive is better than anything!" Alice said, choking up, and only then did her anxious heart finally calm down.

Mabel glanced at Dorian standing at the door, took a deep breath, and invited them inside.

"What happened to your foot?" Alice immediately noticed Mabel’s foot was not right.

"Nothing much, I accidentally fell off the steps yesterday and got a small fracture, but the doctor said resting for about a week will be fine." Mabel said, letting Alice and Dorian sit on the sofa, "Do you want something to drink? Tea, drinks, I have them all here."

"No, no." Alice quickly said, "Tell me, how did you survive, why did you change your name, and why didn’t you contact us? You know how much I missed you?"

As Alice spoke, she felt like crying again, and Dorian quickly grabbed a tissue to wipe away his wife’s tears.

Mabel pursed her lips, silent for a moment, her gaze flicking to Dorian, "Did Kyle say something to you now that you’ve come over, has he already learned everything from the past?"
